Bug Bite Identifier explains how photo review, account sessions, anonymous analysis, and service provider data are handled while providing general bug bite guidance.
Photos and analysis workflow
Bug Bite Identifier is designed around a photo-first review workflow. Uploaded images are used to show a preview and provide general bite guidance in the product experience. Do not upload photos that include faces, private documents, or unrelated personal details.
Account and session data
When authentication is enabled, Supabase stores the session details needed to recognize a signed-in user, such as user id, email, provider metadata, and session cookies.
Analysis and service providers
When photo analysis or analytics are enabled, uploaded image metadata, analysis records, and basic analytics events may be processed by providers such as Supabase, Google, Modelslab, storage providers, and analytics tools.
Health and privacy reminder
The service provides general information only and is not a medical diagnosis. Avoid sharing sensitive health details beyond what is needed to understand the bite mark, and contact a clinician for urgent or worsening symptoms.
